I've been set so much coursework at the moment, i am keeping up just about but it is taking alot of time up. I am finding unit 1 is going quite well and its not the most time-consuming of units at the moment but unit 16 and unit 15 are becoming so hard and are taking up most of my time at the moment. I didnt get the best of news when my 2nd assignment of e-commerce came back without me achieving any p's m's or d's even when they were all attempted. I am therefore going to focus myself on that assignment and hopefully achieve that distinction grade. I also have another assignment due on unit 2 computer systems however i havent even started this one yet as i unfortunately completely forgot about this :(

Today i completed all assignments at the moment due in and also got offered the job i applied for at John Lewis. Due to having a big 3 hour break i completed my first assignment in unit 2 which was extremely hard to complete as it was 9 pages long and i was only informed that it was due this friday and not next friday.

I recieved my e-commerce assignment back a few days ago and have got quite a few things to improve on it. Also i got my unit 1 back but still havent got P6 and M1 of that assignment finished. Im continuing with M1 now and need to see the teacher about P6 as i dont really understand it. David Castors work is also due in tomorrow but i have nearly completed this.
Yesterday i also had my John Lewis interview for a part-time job and i think this went quite well, but there were alot of people applying so im not too sure whether i will be successful. I find out on Friday.

Today is the due date for my Unit 1 and unit 15 assignment. I didnt make it too my unit 15 lesson so will have to give in the leaflet at the end of the day. Ive completed P1 and P2 in the unit 1 assignment but didnt manage to get P6 done as i didnt really understand.
I have also been offered an interview for the John Lewis job i applied for a week or 2 ago.

Ive completed everything on my 1st assignment now and have handed everything in. I did sit down with the teacher and it made D1 alot clearer to me. I also have been given assingnments in 2 other units and they have due dates quite close.

I have managed to complete all of p1 and p2 and have nearly completed M1. I am finiding M1 quite dificult to complete and have tried to have a go at D1 and am considerably struggling. Im going to have a sit down with my teacher to try and clear up D1 for me and see if i can complete M1 today. Also in my outside of college life i have applied for a job in John Lewis and hope to get an interview as i have had recommendations from many people.

Today i managed to finish the 3 e-commerce posters and begun on P1 which was a page worth of information on e-commerce and the benefits on a company of using it.
The assignment has 2 P criteria 1 M criteria and 1 D. the due date has been set at 14.10.09 and so am looking to try and complete this p1 in this lesson and if not then finish it at home.

Last week we started our first peice of assessed work which was the 3 posters on E-Commerce entities. Ive enjoyed doing these posters so far as i have had the choice of websites which has meant that i already have an insight into what these website have to offer the e-commerce world.
Currently i have just finished the Skysports.com Poster and i think its looking good. However i think i will go back to it once i have finished the other 2 and maybe add in more information. I need to have a look over the unit description again and make sure every point in there is included in my posters.

Starting BND I.T Practitioners 19.09.09

This is my personal development plan for my communication and employability skills "Unit 1" section of my BTEC in I.T Practitioners course. Within this blog I am going to be reflecting on my development needs and how i am going to progress throughout this course and show myself the skills and attributes i need to develop. I am planning to hopefully get at least 1 Distinction and the rest merits in this 9 Unit long course. I know i have to improve on my punctuality to lessons and timekeeping. I am excited about the programming aspect of this course and hope to develop my limited knowledge in this area and hopefully gain enough experience for me to easily progress throughout the course and hopefully to further education.
